Campus Grant Opportunities

Notre Dame's colleges, institutes, and centers provide a wealth of research funding to Notre Dame undergraduates. A successful application can mean a summer, semester, or year's worth of life-changing learning.

Research Opportunities at Notre Dame

The best research--whether you are a first-time student researcher or a long-seasoned expert--is done when researchers pursue answers to questions they find engaging and compelling. To begin figuring out this process, attend one of the undergraduate workshops or conferences sponsored by CUSE (the Center for Undergraduate Scholarly Engagement), and talk with professors who already are involved in the fields to which you find yourself drawn.

The discernment process can begin as soon as you step foot on to Notre Dame's campus. You don't have to wait until you are a junior or senior to begin a process of thinking about, discussing, and figuring out a project you'd like to undertake!

Glynn scholars may enhance their summer research grants by applying for additional funding from the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program in the College of Arts and Letters; from Research Experiences for Undergraduates in the College of Science; and from a variety of summer study abroad and language programs at the University.
