Maya Tuviera

Maya is a Political Science student whose research interests primarily focus on philanthropy, feminism, and Philippine politics. Her summer research centered around microloan initiatives for Filipino women who were impacted by extrajudicial killings during the Philippines’ war on drugs, and her fall research will be about how women’s suffrage affected policy-making in state legislatures under the guidance of Professor Wolbrecht.
