Glynn students sitting together for a meal during the Stratford Festival

Night and day

In the Glynn Program you'll find plenty of options for travel, enrichment, and fun.

Each fall, first-year scholars travel to Ontario for a weekend at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival.

In the winter, all scholars can join a trip to Chicago to visit the Art Institute and take in performances at the Chicago Symphony, Lyric Opera, or a Broadway show, capped off by our annual alumni reception.

The program offers tickets to performances by Shakespeare at Notre Dame, the South Bend Symphony Orchestra, and traveling productions at the Morris Performing Arts Center.

Annual events include our opening picnic, Christmas Mass and dinner, the scholars' dance, thesis symposium, and Commencement breakfast.

Scholars gather in the Glynn Scholars' Lounge for movies, game nights, and more.

I really enjoyed the trip to Chicago and the trip to Stratford during freshman year. They were such great opportunities to explore arts and culture, while also building bonds outside of class. — Naya Tadavarthy '22
